We offer workshops of various lengths, helping groups build rapport, spend time together in new ways and learn about the craft of woodworking.
Workshops begin with a brief overview of our shop, the day's project and safety instruction before we dive in to the work.
We've hosted a range of groups (law firms, medical residents, middle school teachers, high school students) and can offer an diverse array of projects: cutting boards, drip coffee stands, keepsake boxes, picture frames and more.
Join our nonprofit for the right mix of active learning and hands-on making.
"It's such a beautiful, peaceful and productive space. The group enjoyed the woodworking class, and many have shared that they treasure the boards they made. People said they loved working with their hands, creating something tangible to take home, and learning about the tools and the space. The pace was also a welcome change from the typical speed at which we operate in the office. It's clear that you both draw from experience as educators to create a welcoming environment that invites curiosity and all skill levels."
